Blogger Meetup - UKOUG Conference, Tuesday November 14th
If you're at the UKOUG Conference in Birmingham next month, and you're one of the Oracle bloggers, we're organizing a meetup on Tuesday, November 14th from around 8pm.
The venue will be All Bar One, in the Brindley complex next to the ICC; this is also the same venue that the UKOUG are using for the SIG volunteer drinks, so if you're a volunteer, and a blogger, you can just shuffle across the pub with your drink around 9pm and take advantage of another free bar. This time though, my presentation is on the Tuesday, not the day after the blogger do, so I don't have to worry about a hangover; however I think I'm due to chair Chris Leone's BI keynote the next morning, so I'd better make sure I don't wake up in a bin the next morning with a traffic cone on my head.
As usual, if you'd like to come along, add a comment so I can estimate numbers. We're not going to book anything, so just turn up, and once again the UKOUG have offered to sponsor the evening (cheers!) so we should be able to get a few rounds and maybe order a bit of food. Doug Burns has agreed to keep order between 8.00pm and 9.00pm until the UKOUG event finishes, so he's the one with the kitty and the big list of names on a clipboard.
