AWM 10.2.0.3 Now Available

Following on from the 10.2.0.3 patch release for Oracle Database 10g, Anthony Waite has just informed us that the 10.2.0.3 release of Analytic Workspace Manager and the Global Sample Schema are now available for download on OTN.

According to Anthony, the new features of this release include:

"* Sparsity Advisor determines which dimensions are sparse, which storage element to use (compression or not), the optimal dimension order, and the optimal partitioning scheme

• Data Viewer now contains formatting and graph options
• Additional solve elements (allocation, forecasting, hierarchical-based definitions) for Calculation Plans
• Non-gregorian support (now level-based in Calc Wizard) for calendar calculations
• Java developers can add custom plug-ins
• Ability to create measure subfolders
• Improved logging"
