Two New Papers on OWB, ODI
Tomorrow is the OUG Scotland BI Tech SIG Meeting up in Edinburgh, and I'm about to get on a train up to Gatwick to fly up this afternoon. I'm doing two presentations, the PDFs for which I've just uploaded:
Apart from myself, Peter Scott and Mike Durran are also presenting, and we're meeting up this evening in central Edinburgh along with Doug Burns, Peter Robson and Thomas Presslie. This is my first presentation in the guise of Rittman Mead Consulting, so it's taking on a bit of a bigger significance in terms of what I'm looking to get out of it. Basically, I've done a fair bit of work now around moving OWB projects into production, and it'd be good if I can use this to make contact with other organizations looking to do the same; we'll have to wait and see.
Anyway, assuming I don't end up debagged and tied to a lampost by Mr Scott, I'll be at the user group event around 9ish and off and raring to go, looking to share my knowledge on project versioning, metadata management, OMB*Plus scriping and all the other delights of code management and promotion. Be sure to say hello if you're there, otherwise by all means download the slides and take a look.
