Miracles do happen …
It has been a little while since I posted anything. I have been a little busy at work as well as sitting through a 5 days training course on the Oracle BI EE suite. I must admit that the course was way too long and spread a wee thin for my taste but I did pick up a thing or two. I have already been playing quite a bit with the tool (this was mostly about the repository administration) so I got very few surprises, but for most my fellow delegates this was all new and most seemed quite excited and happy with the whole suite. What was missing mostly was some meat on the BI Publisher, but I just saw that Mark Rittman got yet another OTN article published, this one titled Oracle BI Publisher: Reporting on the Familiar It is amazing how a short, concise article can shed so much light :)
I just saw on the Miracle A/S site that they have started taking down registrations for the Miracle Open World conference. This is the 4th or even 5th Miracle event that I have had my eye on (but never actually been) and I am sure not going to miss out on this one. After reading so many blog posting about the Scotland event the other day, I am really looking forward to join up on this one. Perhaps some of my Miracle mates in Iceland will be there as well, which would be cool.
