ODTUG Kaleidoscope 2008 Hyperion Track Now Available
If you're an Oracle Hyperion Essbase developer, or perhaps an Oracle BI developer looking to see what the new Hyperion products will bring to the Oracle BI stack, ODTUG have recently published details of the Hyperion track planned for ODTUG Kaleidoscope 2008 in New Orleans.
Tim Tow and Edward Roske, two of the most well-known Essbase developers in the States, worked closely with ODTUG and the BI&DW SIG to put the agenda together, which now contains over 30 hours of deep-dive technical information on the Essbase platform. There's an Essbase Developer's Symposium on the Sunday followed by keynotes and sessions over the week by such industry names as John Kopcke, Robert Gersten, Tim and Edward, and of course over the week attendees on the Hyperion track can drop in to all the regular Oracle BI and data warehousing sessions going on in parallel.
If you're an Essbase developer who's in the past attended events such as Hyperion Top Gun and Hyperion Solutions, this is the event that carries on the spirit of those events. I'll certainly be dropping in for quite a few of those sessions, I'll be keen to get the feedback of the Essbase developers and see what synergies they see with the rest of the Oracle BI world.
