Rittman Mead BI Forum 2009 : Registration Now Open!

I'm pleased to announce that registration for the Rittman Mead BI Forum, running in Brighton UK on May 14th and 15th 2009, is now open.

Back in last December when we first floated the idea of an expert-level OBIEE conference, we hoped to bring together 50 of the most experienced presenters, developers, customers and consultants working with OBIEE, Oracle Essbase and Oracle Data Integrator. We wanted to run sessions that you don't normally get at user group events, where we focused on undocumented or advanced-level features of the tools, all the sessions are at advanced level and where attendees could network and make contacts with other expert-level users around Europe. Looking at the speaker list below, and those that have signed up to attend already, I think we're going to have an excellent event:

  • Craig Stewart : “Pure Oracle - New BI Applications with Oracle Data Integrator”
  • Edward Roske : “The Internal Workings of Essbase”
  • Mark Rittman : “Optimizing the Oracle BI Apps using Oracle Data Warehousing Features”
  • Venkat Janakiraman : “OBIEE and Essbase Security Integration”
  • Adam Bloom : “How to Blow Up the BI Server - A Case Study for Diagnosis of Performance Issues “
  • Adrian Ward : “OBIEE Global Implementations”
  • Andreas Nobbmann : “Scripting OBIEE - Is UDML and XML all you need?”
  • Mike Durran : “Oracle BI Roadmap & Strategy”
  • Antony Heljula : “Oracle BI & SOA Integration”
  • Daan Bakboord : “Oracle BI EE and Mapviewer”
  • Gerard Braat : “Understanding the Oracle BI EE Server Engine - Mastering the Random Request”
  • John Minkjan : “OBIEE Cache Management”
  • Peter Brink : “Integrating Cube Organized MVs into a Data Warehouse Environment”
  • Emiel van Bockel : “OBIEE - The Rising Sun to Leave Stars and Snow Behind”

We're running the event in Brighton, our home city and the UK's top seaside resort, just an hour from London and from Heathrow and Gatwick airports. We think this'll be a fantastic two days and to make it as accessible as possible, we've kept the registration fee as low as possible and with a special deal on accommodation at the hotel.

The numbers attending are strictly limited to 50, as we want to keep the event small so that you can network with everyone who is attending. If you're an expert on OBIEE and want to discuss the workings of OBIEE, ODI and Essbase with like-minded delegates, register now and we'll look forward to seeing you in Brighton!
